Association Petite Graine is looking for youth workers based in France to join the international Greencademy Training Course, taking place from 1 to 9 October 2026 in Karlovac, Croatia.

About the training

This Erasmus+ training course is intended for people involved in youth work, training, non-formal education, community initiatives or the NGO sector who would like to strengthen their practice in sustainability, agroecology and rural development.

The programme is based on experiential learning and active participation. It will combine interactive workshops, group work, visits to local initiatives, meetings with entrepreneurs and community actors, peer exchange and structured reflection.

Main themes

During the training, participants will explore:

  • sustainable development in rural areas;
  • the European LEADER approach and bottom-up community development;
  • local resources, value chains and rural entrepreneurship;
  • sustainable agriculture and environmentally responsible practices;
  • social entrepreneurship and businesses with a social mission;
  • green and ethical financing opportunities;
  • cooperation between local authorities, businesses, civil society and young people;
  • ways to involve young people in developing sustainable local solutions.

Participant profile

This opportunity may be suitable for you if you:

  • are involved in youth work, training, education, an NGO or a community initiative;
  • are interested in sustainability, agroecology, rural development or social entrepreneurship;
  • enjoy hands-on learning and collaboration in an international group;
  • are available for the entire mobility;
  • are motivated to use the methods in your local activities and share the learning with Association Petite Graine.

Selection will consider your motivation, relevant experience or community engagement, and your willingness to contribute to local follow-up activities after the training.

Practical information

Dates: 1 to 9 October 2026
Location: Karlovac, Croatia
Accommodation: Hotel Carlstadt, in shared twin rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, breakfast and Wi-Fi.

Accommodation, meals, programme costs and eligible travel expenses will be covered within the limits approved by the Erasmus+ project.

Selected participants will travel to Zagreb and then continue to Karlovac by bus or train. Do not purchase any tickets before receiving written approval from Association Petite Graine. All tickets, invoices, receipts and boarding passes must be retained for reimbursement.

A European Health Insurance Card or equivalent health insurance is required.
