SDGenius joins Erasmus Days 2026 in Bagnères-de-Luchon
On 14, 16 and 17 October 2026, Association Petite Graine will bring the SDGenius project to the Erasmus Days.
Three free, participatory events will invite young people and members of the local community to explore the Sustainable Development Goals in a different way: by walking, observing their surroundings, sharing perspectives and designing practical solutions.
Led by Association Petite Graine and supported by the Erasmus+ programme, SDGenius helps young people understand the 17 SDGs, connect them with the realities of their communities and develop the skills they need to take local action.
14 October - SDGenius Biodiversity Quest
The first event will combine an educational hike with a team treasure hunt.
Along an accessible route, participants will solve clues, make nature observations and explore the connections between forests, soils, mountain water, biodiversity and human activity.
The activity will link the Pyrenean landscape to SDG 6 - Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 13 - Climate Action and SDG 15 - Life on Land. Each team will then propose one practical action that could help protect local ecosystems.

16 October - Walk the Goals: SDG Picnic & Youth Debate
During this combination of walking, a shared picnic and youth dialogue, participants will use the 17 SDGs as a common framework for discussing the priorities of a rural mountain community.
The conversation will address sustainable tourism, mobility, housing, food, inclusion, climate, biodiversity and youth participation. Small-group discussions, SDG cards and a participatory values-line debate will encourage respectful dialogue and help participants identify three priorities for Luchon.

17 October - From Global Goals to Local Action: SDGenius Community Walkshop
The third event will be a participatory community walkshop through Bagnères-de-Luchon.
At a series of themed stops, teams will observe local strengths and challenges connected with water, public space, mobility, the local economy, tourism, inclusion, youth opportunities and biodiversity.
They will then select one issue, identify the relevant local stakeholders and design a realistic youth-led micro-action.

A programme designed with and for young people
All three activities are free and open to the public. Priority will be given to young people aged 16 to 30, particularly those living in rural areas or facing fewer opportunities.
No previous knowledge of the SDGs is required. Participants only need curiosity, a willingness to exchange ideas and an interest in making a positive contribution to their community.
Places are limited and advance registration is required.
For the outdoor activities, participants should bring water, a reusable bottle, comfortable footwear and suitable weather protection. If conditions are unsafe, an indoor participatory alternative will be provided.
